Join The Army of Angry Moms

The clozapine REMS program was formally dismantled on June 13th, 2025. This was a historic victory for mothers of individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI). Our new mission is to improve care and treatment for individuals with SMI, including schizophrenia and psychosis disorders. This includes improving clozapine provider competency, eliminating discrimination, and correcting severe deficiencies in the clozapine product label related to dosing, titration, and hematological testing. Individuals who need clozapine have a right to treatment without interruption and without the burden of unnecessary monitoring. The success of "The Angry Moms" generated the "Mad Moms" movement. This offshoot first gained momentum in Arizona, with the Arizona Mad Moms. Several other states have created their own "Mad Moms" chapters. In 2025, the 501c3 non-profit Mad Moms Services & Educational Fund was established and is currently accepting tax-deductible contributions. In addition to joining The Angry Moms below, please consider joining the Arizona Mad Moms, and find the "[State] Mad Moms" Facebook group in your state.
