The Angry Moms appear in the cover story of the February 2026 Issue of Psychiatric News, one year after the FDA's announcement to end the deadly clozapine REMS program. Journalist Linda Richmond captures continuing challenges faced by clozapine patients and their families. She interviews our co-founder Rachel Streiff, Dr. Robert Cotes, Dr. Jose Rubio, and Gina, a member of our sister group, Arizona Mad Moms. Gina found her son Richard, deceased on the side of the road on December 22, 2025. Richard discontinued clozapine several weeks earlier because he could not adhere to the restrictive blood monitoring practices required by his clinic.

The same day of this publication, on February 1st, 2026, a bill posted in the Arizona State Senate named Richard's Law. If passed, this legislation will give clozapine patients in Arizona the right to access their lifesaving medication.
